Just words in the space, and a deteriorating status. The question is, who...maybe even what? Walk across the river, explore the space, and glance into the story of Echo. Each step forward feels like trespassing on a memory, half-forgotten, half-gone.

Inspired by Metamorphoses Book III and the tragic myth of Narcissus and Echo, this game invites players to wander a fragmented world shaped by silence, reflection, and absence. As you move through the (albeit short) environment, the story unfolds in the space. Echo's voice lingers--not in actually speech--hinting at the emotional toll of being heard, but never truly seen.

The use of light within this space is incredibly compelling, as it highlights the exact path you want the player to follow. There's just enough light to create interesting landscapes, but not enough to distract from the core story you're telling. I love the echoing text effect (and I'll absolutely try to copy it when I get the chance, lol). There's something simple yet beautiful in the frozen, color-coded remnants of Echo and Narcissus' conversation.
